Opportunity
Outdated Tools Blocked Providers from Supporting Patients
Providers were stuck with an old WordPress app that was hard to use and slow to update. The client’s team had to enter content in multiple places, which wasted time and caused errors. Providers also struggled to find sample request forms, nutrition tools, and product details—resources that matter directly to patient care. The client needed a scalable app that matched their refreshed brand and gave providers a better experience.

Solution
Building a Smarter App for Providers and Patients
The client’s outdated WordPress app made it hard to deliver a reliable, user-friendly experience. SEP stepped in to rebuild the app from the ground up in Flutter, creating a single codebase that runs on both iOS and Android. This shift gave the client a stable foundation for growth and a better way to serve healthcare providers.

Faster Access to the Information Providers Need
As part of the project, SEP also implemented the client’s updated brand refresh across both mobile and web. We redesigned key product marketing pages to align with the refreshed identity and added a new search feature that pulls content from multiple sources into one place.
Now, providers can quickly find formulas, coverage details, and other critical information without friction.

Practical Features That Support Patient Care
We also focused on the tools that providers rely on most. The nutrition calculator was rebuilt with updated data, and WIC and Medicaid eligibility filters were added to make coverage information easier to check.
In-app sample request forms were redesigned for clarity and speed, while homepage product highlights gave providers quick access to new launches. These design choices reduced friction in daily workflows, freeing providers to spend more time with patients.
Data-Driven Decisions for Long-Term Growth
Finally, we set up Firebase and GA4 analytics so the client could see how providers were actually using the app. These insights continue to guide design decisions, helping the team prioritize updates and personalize the experience in ways that matter most to users.
