SEP Foundation Awards 2026 Scholarships to Two Indiana Students

For the first time, the SEP Foundation Maker Scholarship names dual recipients

Westfield, Indiana – The SEP Foundation is excited to announce the 2026 recipients of the SEP Foundation Maker Scholarship: José G., a computer science student at Purdue University Fort Wayne, and Ani A., who is studying computer engineering at Purdue University.

This marks the first time the Maker Scholarship has recognized two recipients in a single year. The decision reflects The SEP Foundation’s mission to support underrepresented groups pursuing STEAM education — and an opportunity to extend that impact further.

“Both José and Ani represent exactly the kind of talent and drive this scholarship was created to support. When we saw the strength of this year’s applicants, awarding two felt like the right call. We’re proud to invest in both of their journeys,” said Traci Dossett, COO of SEP.

The scholarship awards $5,000 per year while the student is enrolled at an accredited institution in the state of Indiana.

About The SEP Foundation Maker Scholarship: Open to any Central Indiana resident, the scholarship was established to help students pursue a degree in a STEAM field at any accredited college, university, technical, vocational, or trade school in Indiana.
