Shaping the Story of Software

We’re wired for what really matters, so we’re drawn to the toughest problems. The ones that others have failed—or don’t dare try—to solve.

From emerging tech to regulated environments, we’re shaping the story of software one industry, one client, one product at a time. Always asking questions. Always exploring where the answers lead us. Always challenging ourselves to build something exceptional and make it even better.

Building a Bolder Vision

SEP is one of Indiana’s largest software product development firms with 160 employees and clients that span from Fortune 100 to scale-up companies. We were founded by engineers who wanted to build a better place to work. A place where people wanted to thrive. Where their talents shine through. Where the culture nurtures them from day one. The founding principles are evident today in the way we craft exceptional products, in how we collaborate—and in the way we tackle what matters most.

We Are Different

Discover a different kind of partner.

Employee-owned. Uniquely invested.
We’re owned by our employees. Which means we’re more invested in what we do. It’s an ownership model that frees us to focus on your long-term growth rather than our short-term profits.

Always curious. Never intimidated.
We’re always asking questions, always digging deeper so we can solve the right problem in the right way. That’s how we’ve always worked and we’re never afraid to explore places your toughest challenges will take us.

Open minds. Open hearts. Open doors.
Work with a partner whose values are visible in every interaction. We’re driven by radical transparency – getting the real stuff on the table so we can work on what really matters.

The SEP Foundation

Central Indiana has been a great home to SEP since 1988. We have and will continue to repay that hospitality by contributing to bettering our community. We created The SEP Foundation to give back to and support our neighbors who deserve the same opportunities we’ve been blessed with. Through employee engagement activities and grant and scholarship funds, we hope to live out our vision in an impactful and meaningful way.
