Smart people. Meaningful work. Fulfilling lives.

People join SEP so they can contribute to a variety of software products and make an impact. They stay here for the people, the variety, the professional growth, and the autonomy to choose their own path.

At SEP, you’re surrounded by people with diverse experiences, perspectives, and ideas. People who want to learn continuously. Who want to craft something awesome,  create lasting memories—and make a difference in the community.

Together, we tackle the toughest problems.

Our software engineers, designers, and engagement managers are tenacious problem solvers. That, and because we have a unique collaborative culture that’s built on the idea we’re all in this together, is why we can take on complex problems with confidence.

Patience, kindness, and humility are as much a part of our success story as our technical chops.

SEP is our place in common.

Our office is, currently, located in Carmel on the north side of the Indianapolis metro area.  The space is designed for collaboration with whiteboards and common areas for us to meet. There’s also space to pause for a moment, to collect your thoughts, or to have a private conversation.

Grab one of our bikes and take a ride down the Monon Trail, which runs right by our building. And since we’re right in the heart of Carmel, we’re just a stone’s throw from some of the best dining and activities in the city.

But we make a difference across the region.

We care about your success—not just making great software, but winning together. And that attitude extends far beyond our employees. Our Community Involvement initiative puts our goodwill into action across Central Indiana.

The SEP Foundation helps those in need overcome the barriers and confines of poverty through engagement activities and grant-making. We also partner with organizations like Gleaners Food Bank of Indiana, JDRF, Student Impact, and Camptown.

Testimonial

“SEP values people over profits. It is no wonder that it has been a ‘Best Place to Work’ since 2010. Rarely do we have top-down decrees; most organizational changes are bottom-up initiatives. Employees are attracted to the project variety, but stay for the relationships and the freedom to choose their paths.”
Jyotsna Raghuraman, Lead Software Engineer
