The SEP Foundation Maker Scholarship selects IU Indianapolis-bound computer science student as the 2025 recipient
Westfield, Indiana – The SEP Foundation is excited to announce the 2025 recipient of the SEP Foundation Maker Scholarship: Mutombo M., a recent graduate of Crispus Attucks High School.
Mutombo will begin his freshman year this fall at IU Indianapolis, where he will study computer science.
Now in its sixth year, the Maker Scholarship reflects The SEP Foundation’s mission to support underrepresented groups pursuing STEAM education.
“Like past recipients of this scholarship, Mutombo’s story is remarkable. This award is a way for us to meaningfully help the next generation of makers take their next step. We can’t wait to see what he does,” said Raman Ohri, President & CEO of SEP.
The scholarship awards $5,000 per year while the student is enrolled at an accredited institution in the state of Indiana.
