Graduating Indiana Senior Awarded STEAM Higher Education Scholarship

The SEP Foundation Maker Scholarship selects Purdue-bound engineering student as the 2024 recipient

SEP Foundation Scholarship Winner, 2024 High School Graduate BenWestfield, Indiana – The SEP Foundation announced on Thursday, June 20th, the latest SEP Foundation Maker Scholarship recipient. This year’s winner, Ben, graduated from high school in 2024 and is set to attend Purdue University in the fall to study engineering.

This marks the fifth annual award of the Maker Scholarship, furthering The SEP Foundation’s mission to support underrepresented groups pursuing STEAM education.

“One of the joys of our year is naming the recipient of the SEP Maker Scholarship, which highlights our commitment to underrepresented future engineers,” says Traci Dossett, COO at SEP.

“Ben is an outstanding scholar, athlete, servant-leader, and musician. We’re honored to be able to help support him in furthering his education.”

The scholarship awards $5,000 per year while the student is enrolled at an accredited institution in the state of Indiana.


About The SEP Foundation Maker Scholarship
