Local software development company, SEP, is proud to announce our recent victory in the highly prestigious Indianapolis Star Top Workplaces awards. We have been awarded first place in the Midsize Companies category, showcasing our commitment to creating an exceptional work environment for our employees in Westfield, Indiana.
“Earning a Top Workplaces award is a badge of honor for companies, especially because it comes authentically from their employees,” said Eric Rubino, Energage CEO. “That’s something to be proud of. In today’s market, leaders must ensure they’re allowing employees to have a voice and be heard. That’s paramount. Top Workplaces do this, and it pays dividends.”
The Central Indiana Top Workplaces award is open to organizations with 50 or more employees in central Indiana counties. Participating companies are evaluated and awarded based entirely on employee survey feedback conducted by an independent third party. The confidential survey uniquely measures 15 culture drivers that are critical to the success of any organization: including alignment, execution, and connection, just to name a few.
Employers earn Top Workplaces when their aggregated employee feedback scores are higher than national benchmarks. The Indianapolis Star recognized over 120 Indiana companies and organizations in 2023.
“We are honored to be recognized by Top Workplaces,” said Kyle Pinches, Director of Talent Acquisition & Onboarding. “Every time we grow our team, we consider not just ‘Can this person do the work?’ but also ‘Will this person help our culture grow?’. This award embodies that principle.”
Special Award Winner
Special awards were based on standout scores for specific survey statements, including the New Ideas award. The criteria for the New Ideas award emphasized that new ideas are welcomed within the company. Employees ranked phrases on a seven-point scale from strongly disagree to strongly agree.
SEP won for the statement, “New ideas are encouraged at this company.”
“Our team is the driving force behind our success,” said Dawn Bunting, Director of Human Resources at SEP. “And we believe in fostering a collaborative environment where creativity and innovation thrive. Winning the ‘New Ideas’ award further validates our commitment to cultivating a culture that welcomes and embraces fresh perspectives.”
SEP ranks #1 in the midsize company category on May 10, 2023, and is the “New Ideas” special award recipient.
