SEP Ranks #2 on Indianapolis’ 2026 Top Workplaces List

Westfield, IN – May 7, 2026SEP, a software product design and development firm based in Westfield, Indiana, has once again earned a spot among Central Indiana’s Top Workplaces, placing second in the Midsize Companies category. The recognition is based entirely on employee feedback collected through an anonymous survey administered by Energage LLC. Survey questions focus on whether employees feel respected, supported, given growth opportunities, and empowered to take action.

“What I love about this recognition is that it comes from the people doing the work,” said Dawn Bunting, Director of HR at SEP. “Our team is curious, collaborative, and genuinely invested in each other’s success, and that shows up in the survey year after year.”

Out of 111 organizations, 38 were recognized as Midsize Businesses Top Workplaces, making any placement a meaningful distinction. The Top Workplaces program, now in its 21st year for Central Indiana, is administered by Energage and relies entirely on confidential employee input to determine rankings.

These employers were recognized by the annual Top Workplaces employee survey conducted by Energage, working in partnership with IndyStar.

✨ AI Post Recap

SEP has earned second place in Central Indiana’s Top Workplaces 2026 survey for Midsize Businesses — a recognition that comes entirely from anonymous employee feedback, not applications or nominations. It’s the latest milestone in a streak of workplace recognition that stretches back to 2010, and a reflection of what it means to build a company where people actually want to show up.

What is the Top Workplaces award? Top Workplaces is an annual recognition program administered by Energage LLC. Companies don’t self-select their ranking — employees complete a confidential survey covering whether they feel respected, supported, and empowered. Rankings are based entirely on those results.

What makes SEP’s culture stand out? SEP is 100% employee-owned, which means everyone has real stake in the company’s success. That shared ownership shapes how SEPeers collaborate, tackle hard problems, and support each other — and it shows up year after year in the survey results.
