Understanding Behavioral Health Needs
ProTeam Tactical needed help rebuilding SHIELD, their proactive behavioral health app for first responders. The old platform was hard to use and had limited access, making it tough for departments to see well-being trends in time to offer support, and for first responders to better understand behavioral struggles.
SHIELD aimed to be anonymous and secure; assess areas such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, substance abuse, stress, and sleep quality; and provide access to resources, support, and scheduling. The goal was to give departments access to real-time insights so they could respond quickly and advocate for their people, while first responders gained a simple, reliable tool they could trust.
