About Tait

Background and Education

Tait studied Communication and Media Studies at Hanover College and later earned a degree in Computer Technology from IUPUI. Before joining SEP, he held senior roles across professional services, managed IT, eCommerce, and civil engineering. He led product strategy and development for an enterprise eCommerce platform, oversaw day‑to‑day and sales operations as a chief operating officer in managed IT services, directed IT operations for a growing multi‑campus mega church, and managed corporate application development teams in engineering and architecture firms.

These experiences honed his ability to bridge technical expertise with clear communication and to deliver scalable solutions for organizations of all sizes

Working at SEP

Tait enjoys building relationships across clients, teams, and individuals, aligning them around a compelling vision of value rather than focusing solely on technical details. He meets clients wherever they are in their software journey, learning new domains and collaborating across internal and external teams to provide maximum value to their business goals. Outside of his engagement manager duties, Tait served as a program manager for a major client, coordinating global cross‑vendor collaboration to launch a new IoT product. Known for his extroverted spirit, he enjoys representing SEP at community events and making new connections.

In the Community

Tait serves through his church, where he helped lead a tech‑inspired mission trip for Horizon International to deliver technical solutions for orphans in South Africa and Zimbabwe. He is active in CITRT (the Church IT Network) and has hosted events that bring together church IT leaders. He also supports worship teams with his technical skills and plays acoustic guitar for organizations across the Indianapolis area.

Certifications

  • Tait has completed the Dale Carnegie Leadership and Management program.
