About Kyle

Background and Education

Kyle became interested in programming at eight years old and knew from an early age that he wanted to build software solutions that solve big problems. After pursuing an education aligned with his natural interests, he graduated with a degree in Computer Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.

Working at SEP

Kyle joined SEP in 1999 as a new developer, growing over time into leadership roles and project management. Notably, his work with aerospace engine health tracking systems is one of the longest-running projects within our walls.

As he rose through the ranks at SEP, Kyle was drawn to working with people and teams behind the software. Since 2010, he has been actively working in recruitment in addition to project work.

In his current role, Kyle is responsible for ensuring that we continue to recruit great people and leading onboarding initiatives at SEP. He still engages on the technical side of things, including participating in SEP Hackathons.

On a Personal Note

Kyle lives in Carmel with his wife and three tortoises. He enjoys tabletop and full-scale role-playing games and reading in his spare time.
