About McKenzie
Background and Education
McKenzie graduated from Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI) and joined the SEP team in 2018 as a Project Leader. Her rapid advancement to Engagement Manager reflects her ability to navigate the challenges of large‑scale software delivery, align diverse stakeholders, manage ambiguity, and keep teams focused on delivering value. She leads with empathy, clarity, and a strategic mindset.
Working at SEP
At SEP, McKenzie guides complex software projects from inception to delivery, ensuring that clients achieve their goals through thoughtful planning and collaboration. She thrives in aligning stakeholders and fostering strong relationships that support both product and organizational success.
Beyond client work, McKenzie supports colleagues’ career growth as part of SEP’s Career Development Team, guiding team members to identify their strengths, explore new opportunities, and gain clarity and confidence in their career paths. She also serves on the ESOP Communications Committee, helping colleagues connect more deeply to their work and SEP’s shared ownership culture.
In the Community
McKenzie is passionate about giving back, especially to causes that support animals and community well‑being. She volunteers at her local church and has previously served on the United Way board.
On a Personal Note
A lifelong resident of Westfield, Indiana, McKenzie loves spending time with her husband and teenage daughter. She enjoys being outdoors with their two golden retrievers, exploring new hiking spots, and often turns her free time into creative DIY projects.
