About Jason

Background and Education

Jason holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue and dual master’s degrees from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business—an MBA and an M.S. in Business Analytics. His career has been rooted in data from the start. He began as an engineer in aerospace, where he moved into data engineering to build analytics systems, refactor legacy data pipelines, and develop predictive tools for fleet maintenance. From there, he shifted into product and engineering leadership, leading teams across data engineering, GenAI, Vision AI, and Industrial IoT in the tech services space. Along the way, Jason has worked across manufacturing, aerospace and defense, and home services.

Working at SEP

At SEP, Jason leads the data practice, working to strengthen the tools, practices, and capabilities that support complex data and AI work. He works with teams to help clients modernize their data platforms, prepare for AI adoption, and build foundations that will serve them well over time. Whether he’s shaping architecture, guiding strategy, or helping organizations figure out what they actually need, Jason focuses on designing systems that are built to last and deliver real value.

In the Community

Jason is passionate about mentoring and has supported the development of engineers, project managers, and early-career professionals throughout his career.

On a Personal Note
