About Jim
Background and Education
Jim graduated from DePauw University with degrees in Computer Science and Economics, and later earned an MBA with a concentration in Finance from the IU Kelley School of Business.
Before joining SEP, he spent seven years at a leading software consultancy working on projects in large equipment financing, engine manufacturing, and the oil and gas industry. His industry experience also spans medical billing, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, financial services, auto racing, and a wide range of startups and scale-ups—experience that helps him relate to clients across many markets.
Working at SEP
At SEP, Jim helps clients navigate the early stages of product development, matching them with the right SEP teams and bringing clarity to complex, uncertain situations. He enjoys walking new clients through SEP’s collaborative process so they know exactly what to expect and how the partnership will support their success.
In the Community
Jim volunteers with Camptown, reflecting his commitment to giving back and supporting youth through outdoor leadership experiences.
On a Personal Note
Outside of work, Jim loves cheering on his kids in baseball, softball, dance, and cheer. When his family has downtime, you’ll find them golfing, scuba diving, and wakeboarding.
