Customizing Data Management
Following the deregulation of the energy market, EnerGenuity’s SaaS product needed a more efficient way to manage customer data. We worked together to create a customizable product that supports high demand use and large, complex data sets.

Opportunity
EnerGenuity, a start-up energy marketing company, had a software as a service (SaaS) product that needed enhancements to handle the rigors of the energy market following deregulation. The existing tools lacked an efficient, cost-effective method to track and utilize customer information and energy data.
Solution
SEP began by analyzing the existing Access-based system and conducting a discovery session with the users. After prototyping and user testing, we recommended the redevelopment of a custom system for a SaaS product. We designed the application specifically for multi-site commercial and industrial energy consumers, allowing EnerGenuity the flexibility for growth. The technical design incorporated different modules that could be configured to enable custom capabilities per customer.
