This episode’s guest is Josh Haines, he is the Global DevSecOps Capability Manager & Software Factory Founder at Rolls-Royce. In this episode Josh shares his journey over the past few years focusing on Digital Transformation within the Defense organization at Rolls-Royce. His mission has been to empower the development of modern applications to both serve his business partners within the organization and their customers. Josh hasn’t done this alone and he shared many of the things he’s learned and the resources that have helped he and his team to reach many milestones.

Josh Haines is an Enterprise DevSecOps Specialist and Senior Materials Engineer with 15 years of experience solving problems in complex industries. He is a Lilly Scholar who worked for Honeywell Aerospace and Johns Manville before re-joining Rolls-Royce ten years after an internship. In 2020, he transitioned to a full-time role in the Digital Transformation team. This completes a gradual pivot from creating digital tools to help with engineering work, to starting and running a Software Factory at Rolls-Royce, to a full career in “digital and data.”

Raman has spent his career at SEP, starting as an engineer out of Rose-Hulman. He is now CEO and President. Raman leads SEP in building exceptional software products and stronger teams by collaboratively identifying the right product to build, executing the project, and leveling up our clients’ teams’ software practices.
